The award was based on feedback from the tanker industry, with nominations received via an online poll. The process was overseen by the editor of “Tanker Shipping & Trade magazine” and the award ceremony took place at their conference in London on the 20th November.
The award relates to Clean Marine’s Allstream Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS), which is a particularly attractive and cost-efficient solution for tankers.
Clean Marine was present at the “Tanker Shipping & Trade Conference” at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London and presented the EGCS and gave a presentation of their EGCS technology on November 20th, day two of the conference.
There were three company’s shortlisted in the category “Technology Innovation” and the actual award was presented to Clean Marine at the close of the second day of this well-attended conference. The announcement was made just ahead of Industry Leadership and Lifetime Achievement awards to Robert Bugbee (President and Director, Scorpio Group) and Rajaish Bajpaee (CEO, Berhard Schulte Shipmanagement).
Clean Marine is very pleased to receive this token of recognition from the major players in the Tanker industry, and look forward to continue serving the Tanker segment (as well as other Cargo vessel segments) with our cost-efficient and futureproof solution for complying with emissions regulations.
